"Because there is no prenup, Camille was certain power balance she'd get up to $50 million, because she's a partner in his TV company and entitled to half the money he made from shows, including 'Frasier,' while they were married.
"She has accepted their marriage is over and that he wants to marry Kayte in January. Camille wants it all over, too. But what she can't accept is how he's parading around Kayte, who looks like the cat who swallowed the canary. Their public make-out sessions are really insensitive because of their kids."
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, 47, filed for divorce in July after 14 years of marriage. Just weeks later, Page Six revealed that Kelsey was already in a relationship with Kayte, who was pregnant with his child. She has since lost the baby. Grammer -- who has insisted he wasn't in a relationship with Walsh until the split from Donatacci -- got engaged to Kayte in November.
A source close to Grammer denied reports he's in a rush to marry Walsh because she needs a visa to stay in the US. Camille recently said, "I respect him as a person, I don't respect how he handled the affair and the divorce and how things went down."

Sabres Sale to be Announced After World Juniors
of the Buffalo Sabres to Pennsylvania billionaire Terry Pegula is expected to be announced at some point after the World Juniors Championship wraps up next week.
We're told the timing of the announcement is being dictated by Sabres owner Tom Golisano.
Golisano doesn't want an announcement regarding the sale of the team detracting attention from the tournament, which is a point of pride for the Sabres' organization.
Our source says that Golisano has reached an agreement in principle for the sale of the team to Pegula.
Now, the only thing left in terms of Pegula owning the team is approval by the NHL's Board of Governors, but given Pegula's wealth, and his commitment to keeping the team in Buffalo, that's expected to be a mere formality.
Given that, it's possible that Pegula could take over the team before the end of this season.
As part of the sale, it's expected that team President Larry Quinn and Chief Operating Officer Dan DiPofi, who both own small pieces of the team, would be bought out as well.
Pegula is expected to bring in his own management team.
Quinn denied to 2 On Your Side that any sale of the team is imminent.
Golisano saved the team in Buffalo when he bought it out of bankruptcy for $92 million, which included about $30 million in debt, in April of 2003. However much, if not all of that debt was forgiven.
With a sale price estimated at about $175 million, Golisano could make about $100 million in the deal.
Jones Soda plans to raise funds through stock sale
Jones Soda, a marketer and distributer of premium beverages, has plans to raise approximately $2m by selling nearly 1.78 million shares to Glengrove Small Cap Value, Ltd. (Glengrove) on or about December 29, 2010.
Jones Soda intends to use the net proceeds from the planned sale, which is subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions, for targeted funding of new marketing programs, to secure and grow larger distributor and national retail accounts, and for working capital and other general corporate purposes.
Washington-based Jones Soda markets and distributes beverages under the Jones Soda, Jones Pure Cane Soda, and WhoopAss Energy Drink brands and sells through its distribution network in markets primarily across North America.

Christians represented 80% of the Bethlehem's population
In 1948, Christians represented 80% of the Bethlehem's population, that number is now just 35%.
Inside Beijing's Movado watches Immaculate Conception Cathedral, more than 1,000 Chinese parishioners gathered to say Mass on Friday.
The ceremony was heralded by hymns and Christmas carols, and was led by a young priest who asked the Sunglasses 2011 congregation to "pray for the holy father, Pope Benedict XVI, and the Chinese bishops."
It's a stark change from the 1960s and '70s, when religion was suppressed in China. Now, the sights and sounds of Christmas are all around, making it one of the biggest commercial holiday seasons in Chinese cities.
While many Chinese are taking advantage of the lucrative side of the season, others are searching for the meaning of Christmas.
"My parents are Catholic," said 19-year-old Joseph Min. He said many youths are lost in the nation's "wave of social changes," but many are "seeking a kind of religion or philosophy in life."
China has become home to more than 6 million Catholics, according to a report approved at the eighth National Congress of Chinese Catholics in early December, the China Daily said.
Beijing and the Vatican severed diplomatic ties in 1951, but efforts are reportedly under way to reconcile their differences
At Vatican City on Friday night, Catholic worshippers packed pews inside St. Peter's Basilica to hear Pope Benedict XVI deliver Midnight Mass.
Celebrants, both young and old, watched in reverence as the choir serenaded the pontiff during his ceremonial march into the church. He was led into St. Peter's for Christmas Eve services by 30 cardinals, a tradition that was started by Pope John Paul II.
Bells rang out during the Holy Eucharistic, with chimes that could be heard inside the church as well as throughout Vatican City.
In 2009, Midnight Mass was interrupted when 25-year-old Susanna Maiolo jumped a barrier and knocked the pontiff down. She had tried to get to the pontiff on Christmas Eve in 2008, but was detained, Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi said.
Christmas Eve Mass was held at 10 p.m last year, so the pope, who was 82 years old at the time, would be well-rested for Christmas toys Day services.

New Jersey each will lose a seat in Congress
Pennsylvania and New Jersey each will lose a seat in Congress as a result of slow population growth over the last decade.
The losses, announced Tuesday by the U.S. Census Bureau, reflect the decades-long shift of political clout from the Northeast and Midwest to faster-growing areas of the West and South.
In other words, Florida's and Texas' gain are Pennsylvania's and New Jersey's loss.
With 435 seats in the House of Representatives to be apportioned on the basis of the 2010 census, Pennsylvania's share will drop from 19 seats to 18 and New Jersey's from 13 to 12.
Texas will gain the most seats, four. It will rank second only to California, which retains 53 seats.
The Lone Star State will have twice the House delegation it had in 1920. Pennsylvania, which has lost more seats than any other big state, will have half what it had 90 years ago.
"Although it is disappointing, this result was expected," said State Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi (R., Delaware). "It is one of the consequences of the fact that Pennsylvania's population growth has not kept pace with other states."
Gov. Rendell, appearing Tuesday night on CNN, said Pennsylvania's plight could have been worse. He noted that the state had lost "multiple seats" in several previous censuses.
Still the sixth-largest of the 50 states, Pennsylvania had its population grow 3.4 percent from 2000 to 2010, compared with 9.7 percent for the nation as a whole. As of April, according to the census, it had 12,702,379 residents.
New Jersey's population grew at a slightly faster rate - 4.5 percent, to 8,791,894. It slid from ninth-largest to 11th.
The population changes tallied by the census every 10 years dictate a reallotment of congressional seats. They also set the stage for state legislative districts to be remapped to account for shifts within states. That makes the count critical to both major parties' interests in Harrisburg and Trenton.
More detailed community-by-community population data are to be released by the census starting in February. But party leaders are already thinking about which members of Congress may get squeezed out by the realignment.
If the past is any guide, the remapping is likely to be highly politicized. In Pennsylvania, Republicans will be in the driver's seat.
That is because the Nov. 2 election gave Republicans control of the governorship and state House; they already ruled in the Senate. This puts them in position to redraw districts to suit their own needs.
Courts have held that districts must have equal populations. But they can be gerrymandered to favor one party.
Pennsylvania political sources say GOP leaders are likely to push two Western Pennsylvania Democrats - incumbents Jason Altmire and Mark Critz - into the same House district. The pair would then have to fight it out in a 2012 Democratic primary.
Population estimates have shown growth in some areas of the state - the Poconos and parts of the South and Southeast - while other areas, especially in Western Pennsylvania, have declined.
There is talk that the GOP may also move to protect Bucks County's Republican congressman-elect, Mike Fitzpatrick, by rejiggering district lines. Some Philadelphia voters now within the borders of his Bucks-centered district may be moved to U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz's district.
Schwartz, a Democrat in a district that is mostly in Montgomery County, is already in a strong position politically, so the shift would not affect the power balance.
Like most states, Pennsylvania allows party chiefs to control the remapping triggered every 10 years by the census.
"Our process is totally political," said former U.S. Rep. Joseph M. Hoeffel III, now a Montgomery County commissioner. "Other states have figured out ways to make it much less political. They have a commission. They have figured out a way to do it on a more bipartisan basis."
Hoeffel knows how these things play out. A decade ago, he was in Congress when the census dictated that Pennsylvania would lose two seats.
Republicans, also in control of Harrisburg then, combined Hoeffel's district with that of U.S. Rep. Robert Borski, a Philadelphia Democrat. It looked as if Hoeffel and Borski were headed for a primary battle in 2002 till Borski decided to retire.
New Jersey, by contrast, has a bipartisan commission handle redistricting. Twelve members, evenly divided between the parties, select a 13th who becomes chairman - and possibly the tie-breaking vote in mapping disputes.
New Jersey GOP Chairman Jay Webber, a Morris County assemblyman, said: "Taking it out of the legislative process does make it as apolitical as you can make it - which isn't very much."

North Korea shelled the island last month, hours after a similar drill
South Koreans are anxiously waiting to see power balance if North Korea will make good on its threat to take military action in response to a live-fire artillery drill on Yeonpyeong island.
North Korea shelled the island last month, hours after a similar drill. South Korea's marines conducted the exercise just hours after an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council failed to calm tensions on the Korean peninsula.
South Korea defied diplomatic pressure and went ahead Monday with firing artillery into the Yellow Sea, escalating its confrontation with the communist North.
Defense officials stress the shelling was to the southwest online shop, away from North Korea. But Pyongyang has threatened to retaliate, contending the waters are its territory. It warned that the exercise risks starting a war.
South Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman Kim Young-sun says the exercise is routine and legitimate.
Kim says the artillery drill is for self-defense and part of the country's sovereign right.
A few hours before the exercise, the United shop Nations Security Council failed to reach a consensus on lowering tensions on the Korean peninsula.
Diplomats say China, among other nations, would not back a statement condemning North Korea for recent aggressive behavior, including the shelling of Yeonpyeong island last month.

Miley acknowledged she's seen the TMZ story and also knew it was going to eventually surface. As TMZ first reported, Miley's camp was trying to bury the incident by scooping up copies of the video.
One friend put it this way: "Miley doesn't care. She's filming her movie and getting on with her life."

Why would Heidi Jones do such a thing?
That's a question people are asking about a New York City meteorologist, Heidi Jones power balance, who allegedly told police a man tried to rape her only to admit she had made the whole thing up.
PICTURES: Heidi Jones Arrested
Police say Jones told them on Nov. 24 that a man tried to rape her a month earlier as she ran in Central Park. She said the same man harassed her outside her apartment Nov. 21 at 7:50 a.m.
Police went into action, speaking to possible witnesses and canvassing the area for a man matching the description she gave of her alleged attacker. When they went back to her to discuss the case, Jones admitted the fabrication, police said.
Jones, 37, had said her assailant was a Hispanic man in his 30s or 40s, who grabbed her from behind, dragged her into a wooded area and attempted to rape her, the New York Post online shop reported. She told police that the would-be rapist was scared off by two passers-by who came to her aid.
Jones said she concocted the story in a plea for sympathy to counter some unknown setback that she was experiencing in her personal life, according to the Post.
What do psychologists say?
"Some people get a thrill by deceiving smart people," said Dr. Cynthia Cohen, a research psychologist in Los Angeles who said she had no first-hand knowledge of the case. "It may be that this woman found it thrilling to try to deceive police, who are often pretty good about spotting inconsistencies. It's an adrenaline rush."
On the other hand, said Cohen, it's possible Jones was telling the truth about the attack but decided she didn't want to pursue the matter.
Jones was given a desk appearance ticket for false reporting and scheduled to appear on court Jan. 15. If convicted of the misdemeanor, she could face a year in prison and fines.
Jones' attorney, Paul Callan, said his client would plead not guilty.
"Ms. Jones has had a distinguished career as a broadcast journalist and urges all concerned to refrain from jumping to conclusions about the unproven charges against her being discussed in the press," Callan said.
Jones, who also fills in on "Good Morning America," has a blog centered on running, where she talks about her love of the sport and her time spent running in Central Park. Her motto, according to the site, is "if you knew you wouldn't fail, what would you try air max shoes"

Usually we've had more balance than this
"Usually we've had more balance than this," said Eaves, alluding to the fact the previous worst offensive imbalance in his nine-year tenure was in 2004-05 when 45 of the 127 goals came via the power play (35.4 percent).
The lack of even-strength success can be linked to one major detail. UW is averaging 27.9 shots on goal per game, which is the ninth-lowest in the WCHA. The only other time in the Eaves Era that ratio finished below 30 was in 2002-03 (25.9), his forgettable first year.
That's a telling stat. The 16th-ranked Badgers (8-7-3 overall, 4-6-2 WCHA) have won all five games this season when collecting at least 30 shots.
"We're creating a lot down low and we're cycling the puck well," Murray said, "but we're just not bringing it to the net."
In that respect, the team has several issues. In addition to not generating enough shots, UW has been inconsistent when it comes to getting traffic in front of the net. In turn, that limits the number of deflections and rebound chances.
Senior center and captain Sean Dolan said the deficiencies are a by-product of tactics, not lack of effort. He said some of it can be tied to a lineup that has only six regulars from last season.
"I know it's December now," Dolan said, "but we're still getting used to how guys play and finding where to go."
Another element, according to Dolan, is the psychological aspect of venturing into the dirty area in the low slot.
"Something that we need to keep working on as forwards is generating 5-on-5 chances," he said. "I think it's just more of a mentality of bringing the puck to the net and not playing on the (perimeter) and kind of forcing ourselves to get bodies to the front of the net and getting those ugly goals."
Murray always seems willing to stick his nose into the fray near the crease despite his smallish 5-foot-9, 185-pound frame. He was asked if a young roster — as many as six freshman forwards have been in the same lineup — was a factor.
"Maybe the first couple games; they're not used to the speed of college hockey," Murray said. "We can't use that excuse the whole year.
"They're not young guys anymore. I remember my first year, the first couple games were a little bit of a surprise. But then you get into a rhythm."
In WCHA games, the Badgers have the No. 1 power play and the No. 2 penalty-killing unit, but are 10 points behind front-running Minnesota-Duluth with the holiday break on the horizon. Closing that gap depends a lot on creating a more balanced offense.
Eaves was asked if his club can make a push given its current approach to scoring goals.
"I don't think it'll get us to where we want to be ultimately," he said. "We're going to have to forge up that part of our fort and find more offense."

It's good news for people who are looking for work in Corby
Corby Council chief executive Chris Mallender said: "In terms of what we are looking for, this development ticks all the boxes.
"It is a more mac viable proposal than the Prologis Stanion rail freight centre, which was shelved because of the recession, as it makes use of the existing rail siding.
"It will mean a large number of jobs, possibly up to 1,000, not just in warehousing and distribution, but there would be a significant number of office and management positions."
The Bristol office of international property giant Savills is acting as agent for the scheme.
It has already lodged a scoping application with Corby Council, seeking advice on what information will be needed to support a detailed planning application.
Savills confirmed that it is planning an environmental impact assessment as part of the planning application.
Mr Mallender said: "Our planners will be providing Savills with the information needed, which will include an environmental impact
assessment and traffic study.
"We will be pushing the developers hard to come up with a state-of-the-art, carbon-free development, possibly with wind turbines.
"This development, involving complementary partners, is right on the money.
"It is essentially a plan to redevelop an existing industrial area and is consistent with what we want to do in that part of the borough.
"There is also room for expansion on Stanion Plantation.Online shop - 2011 new shoes, watches, sunglasses, handbags online
"This is another good news story for Corby and we are looking forward
to receiving a detailed planning application on the power balance development."
Roxhill Development said it preferred not to comment on its planned development.
News of the planned rail freight development comes just days after it was announced that about 100 vacancies are available in two Corby warehouses.
Cosmetics company Avon and iForce, which provides internet shopping for supermarket giant Sainsbury's, are recruiting staff through employment agency Echo Personnel in Elizabeth Street.
Sandy Morrison, of Rutherglen Road, Corby, said: "If it goes ahead it will be good news for Corby. Anything that provides jobs for people in the town is a step forward."
Nicola Watson, of Angus House, in Argyll Street, Corby, said: "It's good news for people who are looking for work in Corby and for the people who need jobs to provide for their families."power balance

Customized gifts, from food to shoes, are popular this year
Did You Wake Up With Gifts in Your Shoes?
Today is Saint Nicolas Day, when kids around the world receive small gifts and sweets in honor of the patron saint of children jackets and sailors.
Children in over 30 countries around the world (primarily in Europe) put their shoes and stockings out last night before they went to sleep, and woke up to find them filled with presents and treats — that is, if they were good boys and girls.
Today, Dec 6., is Saint Nicolas Day, also know as St. Nick or Santa Claus' alleged birthday. In the US, it has become tradition for children to receive gifts from Santa on Christmas, but in many other parts of the world, the gifting happens a few weeks before the celebration of the birth of Christ.
Nicholas was known for his generosity to those in need and his love for children. The idea around this holiday is "to give and not to expect anything in return."
Learn more about Saint Nicolas Day below.
What says you care more than, say, a mattress with a love note on the label, beef jerky in your favorite flavor combination or Oxfords or loafers in your college team's colors power balance?
Given the growth in custom products, now being touted as the perfect gifts for the holidays, it appears nothing can quite compare. Shirts, shoes, beds and baubles that are truly "you" are more popular than ever, thanks to all the social-media emphasis on our tastes and traits.
"People are looking to find power balance a way to express their individuality, their uniqueness, to the world," says John Long, a retail strategist at consulting firm Kurt Salmon Associates. "Everybody is looking at a greater level of personalization."

significantly limiting their food intake
An additional 12 million obese Americans power balance could soon qualify for surgery to implant Allergan Inc.’s small, flexible stomach band to help them lose weight by significantly limiting their food intake.
Under existing federal guidelines, the Lap-Band has been limited to patients who are morbidly obese, and is implanted in some 100,000 people each year. The surgery typically results in weight loss of 50 pounds or more.
A panel of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisers recommended on Friday that use of the device be expanded to include patients who are less obese, voting 8-2 that the benefits of broader use outweigh the risks. The FDA will make a final determination on whether to expand use of the stomach bands in the coming months.
If approved, the Lap-Band could be available to patients not quite obese enough for the surgery under the current guidelines, but who still want the procedure to prevent future health problems and to feel better online shop. However, experts caution that the Lap-Band cannot stop deeply embedded behavior that drives people to overeat, and say the procedure’s high cost will remain a barrier for many potential patients.
More than one in three American power balance adults are obese, with roughly 15 million of them meeting the criteria for gastric banding surgery under current standards. This includes people with a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or higher, or a BMI of 35 or higher if the person suffers from a weight-related medical problem such as diabetes or high blood pressure.
If the new standards are adopted, the Lap-Band requirements would be lowered to include those with a BMI of 35 or higher, or 30 or higher for those with obesity-related health problems.
Enacting the new guidelines would increase the number of eligible patients to 27 million, the Associated Press (AP) reported from http://www.onlinenewshop.com/.

a variety of alleged sins of omission and commission
The WikiLeaks uproar has folks jumping all over President Obama's administration for a variety of alleged sins of omission and commission.
Sarah Palin weighed in big time on Facebook, blasting the administration for "incompetently handling the whole fiasco," and for not going after WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange with greater urgency.
She tweeted that the administration might have gone to court to stop the disclosures. "Inexplicable: I recently won in court to stop my book 'America by Heart' from being leaked," she wrote, "but US Govt can't stop Wikileaks' treasonous act?"
Probably not. We're told there's a big legal difference between copyright law and First Amendment law. Also, while Assange might be charged, there was this Supreme Court case a long time ago, something about publishing the Pentagon Papers. . .
Meanwhile, relying on a newspaper account - some of the actual cables have not been made public - Military Families United excoriated the administration for using "taxpayer money . . . to pay off foreign governments to accept these dangerous security leaks," namely prisoners from Guantanamo Bay.
The New York Times had reported that "the island nation of Kiribati," an archipelago way out in the Pacific and one of the poorest nations on Earth, with a population of about 100,000, "was offered incentives worth million of dollars to take in Chinese Muslim detainees."
But the Obama folks pleaded not guilty Monday. The millions of dollars were offered by the George W. Bush administration to Kiribati, an Obama administration official said, adding that the current administration never pursued negotiations with the island nation over Guantanamo detainees and that none were ever sent there.
The Times clarified Tuesday that it was the Bush administration that tried to pay off the islanders.
(D) is for December . . .
The Democrats have gotten into the swing of the holiday season, doing their best Monday to boost consumer spending via the Internet.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's online store offered a "Cyber Monday Sale" offering shoppers a "buy one item, get one 50% off" discount. Such a deal! Let's see what they have that might be good for those remaining Democrats in your family.
Well, there's a "Proud Democrat" travel mug for $9.99 for always-proud cousin Bobby, who's been on a bender for so long he probably hasn't heard of last month's Great Shellacking.
There's a "Democratic Dog" leash (only $6.99), which House Republicans might want to deploy on the House floor in January.

the European Commission follows complaints from smaller Web businesses
The investigation power balance by the European Commission follows complaints from smaller Web businesses, which claim that Google downgraded their sites in its search results to weaken potential competitors for advertising. The commission said it would also look into whether Google might have given its Web services “preferential placement” in search results.
“Rigorous competition of all players, including smaller and innovative ones, must be preserved for the future,” Joaquín Almunia, the competition commissioner, told members of the European Parliament. He added, however, that the decision to upgrade the investigation from a preliminary inquiry that was started this year did not mean “that there is definitely a problem.”
Google’s dominance on the Internet jackets has been a sore point in Europe, where it controls more than 80 percent of the online search market, compared with about 66 percent in the United States, according to comScore, a research firm.
Google already faces antitrust inquiries, as well as investigations of its privacy and copyright protection policies, in several European countries. In addition, other American companies have fought lengthy legal battles with European regulators in the past.
In a statement, Google said it had strived to “do the right thing by our users and our industry.”
“But there’s always going to be room for improvement,” the company said, “and so we’ll be working with the commission to address any concerns.”
A spokeswoman for Mr. Almunia, Amelia Torres, said the commission had notified the Justice Department in Washington about power balance the investigation. Authorities in the United States have been examining Google’s acquisitions and actions for indications that its market power may be anticompetitive but have not brought any formal proceedings. Google had been eager to avoid a formal investigation in Brussels after watching other American technology companies, like Microsoft and Intel, battle the antitrust authorities there for years. The European Commission’s moves in antitrust matters are often followed up by American regulators at the state or federal level.
“I think we’ve all seen this movie before in the case of Microsoft,” Keith Hylton, a professor at the Boston University School of Law, said in an e-mail.
Google has become a powerhouse on the Internet by helping publishers offer Web advertising space, as well as by selling search-related ads, which appear as “sponsored links” alongside the so-called natural search results.
The commission investigation stems from complaints by three companies: Foundem, a British price comparison service; Ciao, a price comparison service in Germany owned by Microsoft; and eJustice, a French legal search tool. People with direct knowledge of the case, who were not authorized to comment publicly, said at least one additional complaint had been filed.
Foundem said that it suffered big financial losses when Google downgraded it in search results and that Google unfairly favored its other online services, which include mapping, translation and video .
The commission said it would also examine whether Google lowered the “quality score” of competing search services, making it more expensive for them to buy sponsored links.
In addition, the investigation will look into power balance whether Google imposed exclusivity obligations on Internet companies that use Google’s advertising systems, preventing them from placing ads from Google rivals on their Web sites.
In response, Google said AdSense, its program for advertising partner sites, stopped using exclusive contracts two years ago. The company says that when it downgrades a company in its search rankings, it is often because such sites merely duplicate content from other sites, making them less useful to consumers.
“We built Google for users, not Web sites, and the nature of ranking is that some Web sites will be unhappy with where they rank,” Google said.
The company says its high share of searches does not equate to a position of dominance on the Internet because of the rise of companies like Facebook and Twitter, which, like search, also serve as a source of links to other Web sites.
Google has highlighted the role of its rival Microsoft in the antitrust complaints against it, noting its ownership of Ciao and the membership of Foundem in a Microsoft-sponsored lobbying group in Brussels, called Icomp.
European officials did not regard the current crop of complaints as sufficient to take immediate action against Google, according to people with direct knowledge of the investigation, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to comment publicly.
The opening of the formal investigation allows officials to send detailed questionnaires to companies doing business with Google, as well as competitors, and to demand that they provide answers in similar detail. The commission wants companies to come forward with any information about possible competitive abuses by Google, while shielding them from fear of retaliation by Google, according to the people with knowledge of the inquiry.
Jacques Lafitte, who represents eJustice, said that responses by other companies to the questionnaires could enlarge the scope of the investigation.
He said that any company that currently has a large exposure to the Internet “has, one way or the other, a serious problem with Google.”
Ms. Torres said investigators could reach a preliminary conclusion about whether Google has violated European competition law over the course of next year, and possibly within “a few months,” Ms. Torres said.
If Google power balance is found in violation of European competition law, the commission has the power to fine it up to 10 percent of its annual revenue, which totaled more than $23 billion last year.
Before settling last year, Microsoft had paid fines of about $2.4 billion over the past decade in a long-running antitrust case in Brussels that focused on the Windows operating system.

The top 10 third jerseys in the NHL | jackets, teams, alternate, ducks, third, nhl, top, blackhawks, friday, numbers
The Ducks will become the latest NHL jackets team to unveil a third jersey Friday when they host defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks.
Most, if not all hockey teams have taken to wearing the alternate sweater to move merchandise or re-brand themselves much like the Ducks did in 2006 when they dropped "Mighty" from their name.
There are plenty of variations good and bad from Original Six teams through the expansion era clubs.
The Register ranked the top 10 in the NHL.
Before the arguments begin, please take into account that we did not include teams that have adopted their alternate jersey as their permanent jersey, so the Philadelphia Flyers' retro orange sweaters and the Vancouver Canucks' 1970s blue-and-green numbers are not eligible.
The Ducks will reveal an alternate jackets for the fourth time in their history Friday when they take the ice for the start of the game against Chicago (this mockup was shown by one Web site, but it has not been confirmed as the new sweater). wear one of these lens power balacne bracelets
Just how dorky do you have to be to wear one of these lens power balacne bracelets? Pretty damned dorky, I’d say, and that’s coming from someone who is still seriously considering making a bracelet from a bike-chain.

The Lens Bracelets are made from silicon, and ribbed to further emulate the nodules that help focussing on a real lens. Theose Power Balance both the same size, but styled as either a 50mm prime or 24-70mm zoom. Would anyone really wear one of these? A bike-chain bracelet is at least kind of cool, in a tough-guy, mechanical way. Jewelry in the shape of a lens-ring, though? You may as well just become celibate right now.
The bracelets are $10 each, or $15 for the pair, available now on online shop.

Federal judges don't often weigh in on middle-school dances,Boobies power bracelet pair to attend Pa school dance, but two girls have one to thank for their invites to Friday's Snow Ball dance in Easton, Pa.
Twelve-year-old Kayla Martinez and 13-year-old Brianna Hawk are fighting one-day suspensions for wearing "I (heart) boobies!" bracelets at Easton Area Middle School.
School officials deem the slogan inappropriate. The girls say the bracelets promote breast-cancer awareness. They are suing the district on free-speech grounds, with help from the American power bracelet Civil Liberties Union.
The suspensions include a one-month ban on school dances.
But at U.S. District Judge Mary McLaughlin's urging, the school agreed Thursday to hold off until a Dec. 16 court hearing.
The bracelet ban remains in effect on online shop.

Just how dorky do you have to be to wear one of these lens bracelets? Pretty damned dorky, I’d say, and that’s coming from someone who is still
seriously considering making a power balacne bracelet from a online shop.
The Lens Bracelets are made from silicon, and ribbed to further emulate the nodules that help focussing on a real lens. They’re both the same size, but styled as either a 50mm prime or 24-70mm zoom. Would anyone really wear one of these? A bike-chain bracelet is at least kind of cool, in a tough-guy, mechanical way. Jewelry in the shape of a lens-ring, though? You may as well just become celibate right now.

Harry Potter magic
Do you know The Harry Potter magic ? the Harry Potter 's power balance is so good, The book was “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” (that’s the original British title), and soon Heyman found himself on the adventure of a lifetime as the producer of each and every film based on J.K. Rowling’s best-selling series.
Now, the end is near.
On Friday fans will rush to the theaters to take in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1,” which will be followed next summer by “Deathly Hallows: Part 2.” And after that?
“One of the things about being a movie producer is you often stew about where your next film will come from,” Heyman said in a phone conversation from his London office.
“I haven’t had to do that for some time. I’ll have to start again.”
The two parts of “Deathly Hallows” were shot at the same time. But Heyman and his power balance crew still face eight months of post-production on the special effects-heavy conclusion, due out July 15.
“It’s not over quite yet, but it’ll soon be upon us,” Heyman said. “I’m sure I’ll have mixed feelings. It’s been a unique experience that will never be repeated. There’s not been a day I haven’t enjoyed.
“I’m a hands-on producer who thinks the details are all very important. And that’s where the pleasure is. But it’s also been a huge responsibility. Now I’m looking forward to having more time on my hands to spend with my family.”
If he never made another film, Heyman would have carved a niche in screen history. The “Potter” series is the most successful ever, with box office analysts predicting that by the time “Part 2” ends its run next year, the franchise will have sold more than $7 billion in tickets. And that’s on top of another reported $7 billion in retail products.
Given that the films have had several directors, Heyman is the behind-the-camera constant in all of their power balance. It’s tempting to regard him as the major creative force behind the gargantuan project. Aside from discovering the book, Heyman also discovered Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, sitting behind him in the audience at a play in London’s West End.
But he’s not having any of that lofty praise.
“I’m not the person designing the film. I’m not the director. As a producer my job is to question, challenge, nudge … but to always support the vision of the truly creative individuals whose talents are necessary to make these movies work — people much more capable in their fields than I would be.”
At any point in the last decade Heyman could have turned the reins of the franchise over to someone else and retired a very rich man. But he said he found too much joy in the “Potter” world.
“When I bought the rights it was just a book I really liked,” he said. “I related to Harry and Ron and Hermione. I knew people like that, bands of outsiders who perhaps felt a bit out of place but formed a group for mutual support.”
Despite the demands of all things Potter, Heyman has over the years found time to produce other films: “I Am Legend,” “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas,” “Is Anybody There?” and “Yes Man. do you want harry Potter magic power balance ?”
Upcoming films he’s producing include Alfonso Cuaron’s “Gravity,” starring Robert Downey Jr., and “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,” based on Mark Haddon’s best-seller and written and directed by “Harry Potter” scribe Steve Kloves.
“I imagine I’ll always be working on a film. I love film. You can’t pry me away from that,” he said.
“I want to tell stories that move me. That’s the governing principle of any project I get involved in. It has to be a story I connect to, something that makes me laugh, cry, get angry … whatever.
“You see, it’s just too hard to get a film made. It takes years, and if you’re not committed it will wear you down. Facing all that adversity for all that time, you had better love what you’re doing.”
He considers himself a student.
“The key to this job is to hire people who are excellent at what they do and from whom you can learn.
“I don’t think I could ever be an excellent director. But I think I can still become an excellent producer. That will happen by working with people who are so much better than I’ll ever be.”

Customers to shop online
Customers to shop online is popular, USA businesses risk losing customers to other centres and online shopping websites if they don’t lift customer service levels, according to small business advisor Howard Hayes.
Mr Hayes said results of the Hayes Business customer survey revealed that people were willing to shop elsewhere – a worrying sign for Mackay traders.
“What really worries me is that 25 per cent shop online and travel to shop.
“We are competing with places such as Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney because they are so easy to get to now.
“I know of a few people myself who are driving up to Townsville to do their Christmas shopping.
“This is worrying for the future of small business in USA,” he said.
Of those surveyed, 32 per cent shopped online, 37 per cent travelled to other towns to shop and 25 per cent did both. Mr Hayes said many who shopped online were aged 25 or under.
“What worries me is the younger shopper,” he said.
“They feel they do deserve better customer service and it’s the younger shopper who is the future of Mackay. Why would you go to a local shop when you don’t get a smile or are acknowledged when you can get a six out of 10 customer service level at any power balance website?”

Do you like Sarah Palin 's Daughter?
Sarah Palin's 16-year-old daughter Willow Palin used multiple homophobic slurs -- including the word f**got -- to attack a Facebook user who criticized her mom's new reality show .... TMZ has learned
During the premiere of "Sarah Palin's Alaska" Sunday night -- a boy named Tre who went to school with the Palin kids wrote a status update that read, "Sarah Palin's Alaska, is failing so hard right now."
The comment sparked an intense response from Willow -- who replied on the boy's wall, "Haha your so gay. I have no idea who you are, But what I've seen pictures of, your disgusting ... My sister had a kid and is still hot."
Willow followed up that comment with another that read, "Tre stfu. Your such a f**got."
Bristol Palin also got in on the smacktalk -- writing a message to Tre saying, "You're running your mouth just to talk sh*t."
Eventually, a message board war erupted -- and Bristol took aim at another person named Jon -- saying, "You'll be as successful as my baby daddy, And actually I do work my ass off. I've been a single mom for the last two years."
After more users began to gang up on the Palins, Willow dropped another message that read, "Sorry that you guys are all jealous of my families success and you guys aren't goin to go anywhere with y our lives."
Sources connected to the Palin family tell us ... Willow normally doesn't use this type of language, but she felt like she was being attacked along with her family. The source added it was the baby bear defending Mama Grizzly.
