Kobe Bryant from taking an amazing 41 shots with Best Shoes
For those of you that didn’t know, Odd Future member Tyler the Creator is a Vans enthusiast, calling the brand his favorite on many occasions. Now, the rapper has teamed up with Cheap Vans to add his special touch to a collection of Vans Syndicate Old Skool sneakers. From the image we’ve provided, it looks like the pack includes suede built sneakers, each of which is contrasted with touches of white, and anchored by gum rubber soles.
Steve Nash made his long-awaited debut return to the court for the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night in an overtime win against the Golden State Warriors. Playing to a packed house at Oracle Arena, Nash was instrumental in beating the surprising Warriors and showed just how smoothly the Lakers look on offense (let’s not talk about defense, kids) with a competent point guard running the show. Sure, it didn’t stop Kobe Bryant from taking an amazing 41 shots (fun fact: he took 46 shots when he scored 81), but what really matters is that the Lakers finally showed signs of being the team everybody thought they would be when the season began.
And Nash did it all in a PE of the Vans shoes Lunar Hypergamer Low. After rocking the Nike Cradle Rock for much of his time in Phoenix, he made the switch to the Hypergamer last season and hasn’t looked back. If you look closely at the photos below, you’ll see that Nash’s logo can be found on the tongue of the shoe.
Check out the night that was in kicks, including Josh Smith rocking a “Nightmare” colorway of the vans Top Ten 2000, Darius Morris getting to wear Kobe’s kicks and “Johnny Kilroy” making an appearance for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
